Introduction
The Devon Rex is a pixie-like breed with oversized ears, large eyes, and a distinctive wavy, soft coat. Mischievous, energetic, and deeply social, Devon Rex cats are irresistible in personality and love being the centre of attention.
History
Discovered in 1960 in Devonshire, England. Unlike the Cornish Rex, the Devon Rex’s curly coat is caused by a different gene mutation, making it a genetically distinct breed.
Appearance
Small, slender body with a triangular head, large low-set ears, and prominent cheekbones. Soft, wavy coat comes in all colours and patterns.
Character
Extremely social, playful, and mischievous. Known as velcro cats that attach to their owners. Love warmth, are very intelligent, and are trainable.
