Introduction
The Nebelung is a rare longhaired blue cat closely related to the Russian Blue. With its shimmering silver-blue coat, green eyes, and gentle reserved nature, the Nebelung is a quietly beautiful and devoted companion.
History
Developed in the 1980s in the United States by Cora Cobb using longhaired descendants of Russian Blues. TICA recognised the breed in 1987.
Appearance
Medium-sized, slender but muscular body with a long dense blue-grey coat with silver tipping. Typically green or yellow-green eyes. Semi-long plumed tail and tufted ears.
Character
Gentle, reserved, and loyal. Tend to be shy with strangers but deeply bonded to their chosen family. Quiet, intelligent, and enjoy calm, stable environments.
